BDF welcomes 299 Soldiers

A total of 299 non-commissioned officers have graduated from Private Basic Military Training at Pandamatenga Base Camp today

Intake 84 of 2026 comprises 91 females and 208 males who completed a six-month military training course.

Officiating at the pass-out parade, Minister for State President, Defence and Security Mr Moeti Mohwasa urged the graduates to uphold the highest standards of discipline and good conduct.

He stated that the new soldiers were not only representing the Botswana Defence Force, but were also ambassadors of Botswana.

Mr Mohwasa pointed out that the world is evolving, and so are criminal activities, which are being exacerbated by digital advancement.
