GU ladies drawn in Group A for COSAFA qualifiers

Gaborone United Ladies have been placed in Group A for the CAF Women’s Champions League COSAFA Qualifiers following the draw conducted today.

GU will face ZESCO Ndola Girls FC from Zambia, Herentals Queens from Zimbabwe and Lesotho Defence Force.

Group B comprises defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns, Costa do Sol of Mozambique, Nsingizini Hotspurs FC from Eswatini and Silver Strikers from Malawi.

Speaking at the draw, COSAFA President Mr Tariq Babitseng said COSAFA is committed to hosting competitions across all member countries to showcase their football prowess, culture and the benefits of the game.

The championship will be hosted at the Gaborone United Stadium from August 20-29.
